This page explains how LittleUsKeepsakes handles your information and photos when you personalise a keepsake, request a custom quote or make a payment through this website.

What you share

Your details can include your name, email address, delivery country and postcode, selected scene and size, occasion, preferred date, personalisation notes, and optional photos. We use them to prepare your design or quote, contact you about it, and manage your order.

Where your details and photos are stored

Requests and order records are saved in a MongoDB database. Photos are stored privately, separate from the public website: in Cloudflare R2 object storage where configured, or in private storage on our server. Hosting and storage providers may process technical information needed to operate and protect the service.

Please only upload photos you have permission to share and information relevant to your keepsake request.

Design providers

Your photos help us understand and personalise your keepsake. If a design or production provider needs photos to complete your project, we will explain who will use them and why, and obtain your agreement before sharing them for that purpose.

Payments through Stripe

Payments take place on Stripe’s hosted checkout. We send Stripe your email address, the keepsake description, total price and request reference to process and match the payment. Stripe collects payment and delivery information on its checkout page. Your full card number and security code are not collected or stored by this website.

We keep the payment reference, amount, currency and confirmation status with your request. Stripe handles information under its own privacy policy, including information needed for payment processing and fraud prevention.

Marketing is a separate choice

Submitting a request or making a purchase does not give us permission to publish your photos, display your design as a customer example, or send you promotional emails. Any such use would need your separate permission.

Analytics and local storage

If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand visits, product views, checkout starts, custom enquiries and confirmed purchases. Analytics may set cookies and associate these actions with an anonymous browser identifier. We do not send your name, email, address, photos, inscription or scene description to Google Analytics. Private request and admin pages are excluded from browser analytics.

You can allow or decline analytics, and change your choice through Cookie preferences. Declining analytics does not prevent you from requesting a quote or buying a keepsake. Advertising pixels are not installed.

Hosting providers may maintain technical logs for service operation and security. Campaign labels from links may be kept in your browser’s session storage and attached to your request to help us understand which channel brought you here. We do not save your personal form details, unfinished answers or photos in browser storage. Stripe may use its own cookies and technical information on its checkout page.

Your private request link gives access to your request and payment status. Keep it private; use the product page when sharing the keepsake idea with someone else.

Changes, questions, and deletion

You can ask to correct or delete information or photos associated with a request. Email hello@littleuskeepsakes.com with your request reference and the change you want. Use the same email address where possible so we can verify the request belongs to you.

We will review requests and explain any information that needs to be retained for an agreed order or other applicable requirement. We have not set an automatic deletion period for quote requests; you can request deletion at any time.

The date above identifies the current version of this page. If the use of your photos changes for an existing project, we will discuss that with you.
